"The setting and the location was just unbelievable... It was my first time but I certainly hope it won't be my last... It's got everything going for it, an absolutely unbelievable location, the local Croatian people we met were fantastic and the hospitality second to none. With a great smattering of ex-pat festival goers who seem to have decided to all meet here at the same time. I've met so many people here I know, instantly it makes me feel at home and welcome. There seems to be a growing trend for small perfectly formed gatherings of people. It's the right time right place and this will definitely go on to bigger things.. The Garden Festival will definitely be a feature in my diary for the coming years!"

How it all began...
By 2005 The Garden Zadar had already established itself as one of the best loved and most musically adventurous additions to Croatians nightlife and culture. So much so that the owners of the Pinija Hotel in the nearby village of Petrcane approached us about taking on an event space which had been dormant for some years.
