The Garden has teamed up with a brand new iPhone app called Loccie, and it will be just the thing to ensure that after a long hot day at the festival, and maybe a few too many pivos and mojitos you will be able to find your way back home to your apartment or tent by following flashing colored lights - interested?

Loccie is your personal location assistant for outdoor orientation. It uses coloured lights to show you how far away your destination is - the white one if it's far away, the red one when you are there; green, blue and yellow ones if you are somewhere in between. It's simple, intuitive and loads of fun!

Loccie can also indicate the exact distance in km or miles. In case you find a spot along the way that you'd like to come back to, Loccie will remember the location and help you find it later. You can enter the locations manually or download free location sets directly from the application.

You can also switch navigation modes: from guiding you to a location you selected yourself to displaying the nearest location in the set to your current one. Additionally there's an option to record your own audio and photo notes.

Included in this download are a set of locations that will be really useful for those of you arriving or departing from Zagreb, another set for exploring Zadar, and of course our very own carefully chosen Garden set. We have passed onto Loccie the locations of our favourite eateries, a top secret secluded swimming spot in Petrcane, frustrating things like the impossible to find bus stops and ATMs and amongst other Garden favourites, the best fig tree in the village!

The Loccie app including The Garden, Zadar and Zagreb sets is now available for download at a discounted 1.99 USD rate for all Gardeners until Monday 20th June 2011.

If you don't own an iPhone then the Loccie device will also be available to rent from The Garden Zadar and the festival site....
