Bonar Bradberry and Tom Thorpe make up the boogie boat that is PBR STREETGANG. One of the most interesting and underrated collaborations in club land that has earned them respect across the spectrum, from Crazy P and Greg Wilson to Clive Henry and Ralph Lawson. Their unique musical approach threads paradise garage disco to deep groovy house and techno seamlessly, never failing to connect with the crowd.
Over the last five years of their DJ partnership has evolved into an audience enthralling show that flows effortlessly from Ableton live to the turntables and back again.
These sets are the trademark sound of their northern home, Asylum @ the Mint Club in Leeds, where they have played host to everyone from Theo Parrish and Danny Krivit to Steve Lawler and Luciano.
In the last coupe of years they have toured Australia and closer to home Ireland, as well as leaving their mark on the festival circuit playing to the packed Strongbow tents at the Isle of Wight and V festival.
After returning from another tour of Australia over the winter, this summer has sees a full schedule from the bright lights of their debut at Glastonbury and the Big Chill to their Residency on the Terrace for "WeLove" Space, The Garden Festival in Croatia and he more local but equally loved places, Kendall calling Festival and the infamous Below parties in Birmingham.
Not just content with expressing themselves on the ones and two’s on Bonars production debut began in 2007 and has since had a string of acclaimed releases and remixes for several labels like Future Classic and DJ History. Eventually he roped Tom in to join his creative vision and the pair had their first couple of releases on the Croatian label Red Music followed up by their first major remix of Crazy P "Love on the Line".
This year they've had new tracks out on Under the Shade and Need/Want (by Bonar Bradberry) and have just had a new ep out on Wolf Music and "YamWho?" new label ISM with remixes on 2020 Vison and Lo Recordings to come. Whether its gigs or music ..... this a boat trip you shouldn't miss....
