Where to stay
There are loads of different options for accommodation in Petrcane and its surroundings: from hotels and private appartments to sleeping under the stars in the campsites or chartering a boat. Find out what's available here...
If you would like your festival packaged we recommend www.originalmusictravel.com who can arrange a one stop ticket to the festival including flights, accommodation, tickets and boat rental.
If you would like to arrange independently...... well as the festival is being held in the grounds of the Hotel Pinija then this would be the nearest place to stay to the action! If you would like further information about staying at Hotel Pinija or other hotels and private accommodation then please visit General Turist or email info@generalturist.com, but please note they are only accepting minimum of 7 day bookings at present.
A brand new 4* hotel is opening it doors in July, Falkensteiner Family Hotel Diadora, in Punta Skala, a 15 minute stroll around the bay to the festival site and they will take short stay bookings too. So, if you fancy a bit of luxury ,email them directly on diadora@falkensteiner.com or call them on 0038523206624 quoting reference GF2010 for more information.
Not everyone likes staying in a hotel though, and there are plenty of other accommodation options in the village - rooms, apartments & villas, and as it’s a pretty small village no where will be too far to walk to. We know the village very well and can help you find something suitable... just drop an email to gail@thegardenzadar.com.
If you fancy sleeping under the stars then you'll find a few small campsites in Petrcane, all within a short walk from the festival & all by the sea. They do get booked up quickly so either email Gail for the larger campsite or go to www.camp-pineta.com. Also a 5 minute shuttle ride from the site you will find Auto Camp Peros which has 80 pitches with a great pool and lovley host.
If you have good sea legs then you may want to consider chartering a boat. It can be anchored in Petrcane bay and you can swim to the festival shores!!..... we recommend www.feral-tours.com and after the festival you can then continue your holiday sailing around the thousands islands along the Dalmatian coast.
(If you are searching on the internet for accommodation then the villages of Petrcane or Punta Skala are best for walking to the festival site.)
