Ok, along with the crew I've been promoter and resident DJ at the monthly club night EYES DOWN in Manchester, England for the last 5 years. The idea is to play interesting, left of centre music from any era, tempo, genre or scene. Whatever takes our fancy really, just good, deep music. I also hold a monthly residency at the Electric Chair in Manchester (www.electriks.co.uk) and the legendary Plastic People in London (www.plasticpeople.co.uk), and regularly DJ around europe. As a day job, I'm a lecturer in all sorts of music technology related stuff (Cubase, MIDI theory, sound recording etc), and generally doing other nerdy things that people never want to hear me talk about in the pub!!
